ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that a public hearing will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, November 25, 2024, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following application:

1) Warm Run Solar, LLC, 107 5th Street, Charlottesville Virginia, 22902 has made an application for a Special Exception Permit to develop a 3.00-MW (AC) solar project (public utility). The property is owned by Robert F. Huffman, Trustee, 1318 Mount Atlas Road, Lexington Virginia, 24450 and is identified as tax map number 62-12-B1 (56.00 ac. per tax records). The property is located on the east side of Lincoln Road (Rt. 763) approximately 0.52 miles south of the intersection of Lincoln Road and N. Lee Highway (Rt.11). Access to the proposed solar project is from Warm Run Road (Rt. 788). The property is in the Agricultural Transitional (A-T) Zoning District. Per section 603B.03-14 of the Regulations, Public Utilities are a use by special exception in the A-T District.
