City of LexingtonNotice of Public HearingAmendment of Fiscal Year 2024-2025 BudgetNotice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council on Thursday,November 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia,to solicit input on Ordinance 2024-09 amending the FY 2025 budget from $56,754,739 to $56,945,463. This ordinance proposes appropriating funds for two reimbursement grants awarded to the City, a Community Development Block Grant and one from Virginia Department of Transportation, as well as funding from the Commonwealth in support of the Virginia Juvenile Community Crime Control Act program. In addition, the ordinance proposes $23,333 for capital projects at HWES and LDMS and reallocating $33,550 from paving projects to traffic control development.
