Reunion Event Coordinator Position Summary  Reunion Event Coordinator Position Summary The Reunion Event Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Advancement Services, works with alumni volunteer reunion committees along with events and fundraising colleagues to provide planning and oversight for the annual calendar of scheduled reunion events, with a goal of enhancing the class reunion experience and alumni engagement ultimately increasing financial support to VMI and the Corps of Cadets for years to come. The City expressly reserves the right to cancel this Invitation for Bid and/or reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received, and to accept a bid from the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. To determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who may be awarded a Contract for the Work, the criteria set forth in or requested pursuant to the Instructions to Bidders or in the Bid Documents may be considered. By submitting a bid, each bidder agrees that this is a solicitation of bids and each bidder agrees to be solely responsible for the cost or expense of its bid and the City shall have no responsibility for such costs or expenses.
Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids unless the bid is substantially lower than the other bids because of a clerical error as defined in Section 2.2-4330, of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. Pursuant to Section 2.2-4330 (B)(1), the bidder shall give notice in writing and shall submit the original work papers with such notice to the City of its claim of right to withdraw the bid within two (2) business days after the opening of bids.

It is the policy of the Virginia Department of Transportation that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) as defined in 49 CFR Part 26 must have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of federally funded contracts. A list of DBE firms certified by the SBSD and MWAA is maintained on SBSD’s website ( http://www.SBSD.virginia.gov
) under the DBE Directory of Certified Vendors. Contractors/consultants are encouraged to take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that DBE firms have the maximum opportunity to compete for and perform services on contract, including participation in any subsequent supplement contracts. 1) USS Hilltop Solar LLC c/o Environmental Resources Management Inc., 919 East Main Street, Richmond Virginia, 23219 has made an application for a Special Exception Permit to develop a 3.00-MW (AC) solar project. The property is identified as 331 Lloyd Tolley Road, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia 24579 and is located on the west side of the intersection of Lloyd Tolley Road (Route 773) and Gilmores Mill Road (Route 708).
