Notice of Public Hearing
Amendment of Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council on Thursday,February 15, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia,to solicit input on Ordinance 2024-02 amending theFY 2024 budget from $52,110,243 to $52,198,311.This ordinance proposes appropriating $36,517 to General Government Administration for expenses associated with the 2024 Presidential Primary ($17,622) and server license requirements for the City ($18,895). In addition, the School Board has requested an appropriation of $51,551 from their reserve funds for Future Capital Needs to include locker repairs, painting, and lighting replacements. Copies of the Ordinances may be obtained from the City Manager’s Office in City Hall at 300 E. Washington Street.
