This ordinance proposes appropriating $1,914,434 from FY 2023 Surplus to the Utility Fund for future Capital Projects, $1,000,000 from the Surplus to the Capital Reserve Fund for future debt service needs, and $20,000 for Professional Services relating to a Banking Services RFP. Additionally, $5,413,553 in carryover funds are proposed to be appropriated as follows $21,850 General Government Administration; $161,197 to Public Safety; $659,514 to Public Works; $2,130,853 to the Utility Fund to continue I&I Reduction Projects,meter replacements, Diamond Area Water and Sewer Project, and the Jackson Ave Area Water and Sewer Project; $2,199,501 to the Capital Projects Fund to continue Sidewalk Improvements, Street Paving, Cemetery Improvements, Stormwater Drainage Projects, Dam Projects, Bridge Repairs, and Renovations to City Hall; and $227,419 in the Equipment Replacement Fund to complete purchases and upfitting of vehicles ordered in FY 2022 and 2023 but not delivered before fiscal year end. Lastly, the School Board is requesting appropriation of $380,291 in both carryovers and new anticipated revenues.
